April 11th is National Barbershop Quartet Day. The Barbershop Harmony Society (SPEBSQSA) was established April 11th 1938. An original American art form of 4 part acappella harmonizing that emphasizes family entertainment, community support, and service to others through barbershop music. 2012 International Chorus Reps  Oct 15th, 2011 The Great Lakes Chorus competed against barbershop choruses from 10 major cities in MI and Ontario and won to represent the area as the Pioneer District 2012 International Chorus Reps at Internationals in Portland OR 4th of July weekend 2012!
